Nightrider is a fantastic way to discover a city by bike whilst raising funds for charity. The routes chosen will enable you to see all the highlights the city has to offer. There is full support, including medical and mechanical back up, as well as regular break stops throughout the night. Here you'll find snacks, water and toilets. At the halfway point there's tea and cake. And at the finish you can expect a cheer in and a well-earned breakfast and medal. You can take part alone, or get a group of friends and family to take part with you
The route is all on road and is fully sign-posted. You can choose from a 50km or 100km route. Nightrider is designed as a fundraising cycle ride; it is not a sportive and it is not timed. We will release the GPS of the route a few weeks prior to the event for anyone wishing to follow that.
We are excited to be able to offer our riders the help of personal trainer Graeme Hilditch, who will be on hand by email, to help with any training questions you may have. You will also be given a training plan to help you prepare for the challenge!
Please note that the route is on open roads which are not closed to traffic.
Please see here for further information about Nightrider and how to sign up.
